Shabbat Meals at Fairbanks Jewish Center
We warmly welcome guests to join us for Shabbat meals! Whether you're visiting alone or with a group, we would be delighted to have you at our table.
Meals are hosted either at the home of Rabbi and Chani Wolf or at the Fairbanks Jewish Center, depending on the size of the group.
To reserve your spot, please call or email us in advance — we look forward to sharing a meaningful and uplifting Shabbos with you.

Shabbos Morning Services
Join us for monthly Shabbat morning services at 10:30 a.m followed by a warm and welcoming kiddush luncheon. All are invited! Please see Services Schedule for the current schedule.

Where to get Kosher Food
While Fairbanks doesn’t have a dedicated kosher grocery, you can find certified packaged items as well as fresh products at major supermarkets such as Safeway, Fred Meyer, Costco and Walmart. Specialty frozen kosher foods are not typically available locally, but many families choose to ship them from the Lower 48.

Murphy Dome

Creamer’s Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge
This wildlife refuge is a paradise for birdwatchers, hikers, and photographers. Trails weave through forest and open fields, with a visitor center in a restored farmhouse.
Riverboat Discovery Tour
Hop aboard a classic sternwheeler for a river cruise that includes stops at an Athabascan village and a sled dog kennel. It’s a fun and educational way to experience Interior Alaska’s history.
